The recipient of a bachelor's degree in marketing from Central Michigan University, Jeffrey LaLonde has built nearly 15 years of experience as a Category Analyst. The Lions added depth at the running back position on September 7 by signing veteran free agent Adrian Peterson. The team placed Bo Scarbrough on the injured/reserve list in a corresponding move.

Now playing for his fifth team, Peterson most recently spent two seasons with the Washington Football Team, where he recorded 1,940 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns. The seven-time Pro Bowl running back began his career after being selected seventh overall by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2007 NFL Draft. He went on to log to 11,747 rushing yards, 1,945 receiving yards, and 102 touchdowns through 10 seasons with the team.

Along with his Pro Bowl honors, Peterson won the 2007 Associated Press (AP) Offensive Rookie of the Year and the 2012 AP Offensive Player of the Year. He also holds the NFL record for most yards (296) in single game.
